people say the eyes
are the windows to the soul
if you look in them hard enough
you might see
a lair in action
something missing
unknown pain
unbelivable joy
something i saw
in your eyes one day
was wonderful
incredible
unbelievable
i was right
because
when i look in your eyes now
i don't see
welcoming
beautiful
dark chocolate brown
georgeous eyes
filled with greatness
now i see
almost black eyes
that look like glass
and hold nothing
i'm willing to look at
